Then travel by bus (fare - RM20) from Kota Kinabalu (KK) to Lawas (Sarawak). Time your arrival at Lawas before 1pm. It takes 3-4 hours from KK to Lawas. Please note that there is a state border crossing. Alternatively, you can fly from Kuala Lumpur to Miri (MAS/Air Asia) and connect a MASWings flight to Lawas. Land option requires traveling via Brunei so do check your visa requirement, if any. To get to the lodge, you need a 4-wheel drive vehicle and it takes 1 1/2 - 2 hours journey (approx 68km) from Lawas town. Usually the resort will include this land cost in your room package.
