Penawan Waterfalls Eco Park

The Penawan Waterfalls Eco Park in Lawas is just a short distance from Kampung Pengalih, and 15 minutes from the Lawas Airport, by rough dirt road.

The Eco Park is a sustainable tourism, responsible tourism and conservation initiative run by the local communities of the area and managed by Koperasi Kota Penawan Lawas Berhad. It features basic accommodations and campsites, with amenities for activities like family day, team building and outdoor activities like trekking.

The most important feature, however, are the 10 tier waterfalls.

The first and easiest waterfall to reach is the Batu Meregab Waterfall which is just a 3 minute or so walk from the Eco Park headquarters

You can enjoy a cool swim in the pool under the waterfall, maybe snap a picture at the flat rock near the falls.
