Morning Birdwatching Tour at Kubah National Park

Kubah National Park is situated on a sandstone plateau, mostly covered by mixed dipterocarp forest which interspersed with patches of scrub and unusually rich area of Kerangas forest, is the home of mammals, birds & many species of reptiles and amphibians. Upon arrival, aim to spot some endemic species like Blue-banded pitta, Bornean blue-flycatcher, Yellow-rumped flowerpecker, Bornean Black-magpie, Chestnut-crested yuhina, Dusky munia & etc.

Meanwhile, aim to spot other resident birds like Red-bearded bee-eater, Raffles’s malkoha, Red-naped trogan, Diard’s trogon, Scarlet-rumped trogon, Rufous-collared kingfisher, Rufous-backed kingfisher, Banded kingfisher, White-crowned hornbill, Red-crowned barbet, Red-throated barbet, Gold-whiskered barbet, Rufous piculet, Buff-necked woodpecker, Maroon woodpecker, Black-&-yellow broadbill, Banded broadbill, Green broadbill, Scarlet minivet, Asian fairy bluebird, Blue-winged leafbird, Scaly-breasted bulbul, Grey-bellied bulbul, Chestnut-naped forktail, Rufous-crowned babbler, Scaly-crowned babbler, Grey-headed babbler, Brown fulvetta, Large-billed blue-flycatcher, Spotted fantail, Asian paradise flycatcher, Grey-breasted jungle-flycatcher, Mangrove whistle, Scarlet-breasted flowerpecker, Crimson sunbird, Grey-breasted spiderhunter, Bronzed drongo, Crested jay & etc.
