D-Virtual Park, Kota Samarahan opened its doors to the public on the 17th June 2020 as the first ever virtual park in the heart of Borneo. It was established as part of a concerted effort by the Sarawak State to revolutionise and transform the digital entertainment scene experienced by locals and visitors. The digital initiatives invested into establishing this 13-million-ringgit project is significant not only in boosting tourism into the state but also to elevate Sarawak as one of the frontrunners in transforming the digital landscape not just locally, but on a global scale.
Nestled in the calm and serene town of Kota Samarahan, also referred to as ‘The Town of Knowledge’ and the ‘Future IT Hub of Sarawak’, it is located just a 25-minute drive south of the Kuching City Centre.
